Modern slavery continues to impact millions worldwide through forced labor, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking. According to the 2022 International Labour Organization (ILO) report, 27.6 million people are victims of forced labor, including 6.3 million subjected to sexual exploitation. Women and girls bear the heaviest burden. This piece is a stark reminder of the urgent need for awareness and action.
